score.
- Pay off debt – Pay as much as you can on what you owe – the minimum payment is not going to get you anywhere.
- Ask for an increase in your credit line – Make sure that you have had the credit card for more than a year and make sure that they will give you the increase without pulling your credit report
- Review your credit report for errors – stability is a key deciding factor on your credit score.
- Charge less – try to keep your credit utilization under 35% of your total credit line on each card.
These are simple ways to up that score – you never know when
those few points could make a difference.
